Think you know the herd?
Every hour, on the hour, a new show goes live: ten questions, two answers each, the same for everyone at the same moment. The twist is that you do not answer for yourself. You answer for the crowd. Pick what most people will pick and you stay in. Misread them and you are out.
Then the rounds flip. In minority rounds you have to land in the smaller group: think like the crowd, then step away from it. One tap, no changes.
Your first wrong answer is caught by your Last try. The second ends your run, and you still get to watch how the vote split, down to the margin: out by 114 votes.
It is an online party game you can play right now in a browser: no download, no sign-up for your first show, and a new show every hour.

How a show works
A show is ten questions with two answers each, and every player sees the same question at the same moment. The lobby opens five minutes before the hour.
Yellow rounds are majority rounds: pick what most people pick. Red rounds are minority rounds: suddenly you have to be in the smaller group.
Your first tap is your answer, with no changes. Every player gets one Last try per show: your first wrong answer brings you back, the second one knocks you out. Out players keep watching and making shadow picks.
Crowns and cards
Getting through round 5 earns one crown; surviving all ten earns three, shared by the survivors. Crowns build your rank and put you on the Crowns board, today and all time.
Cards are collectible sentences worth keeping, each on an illustrated scene with a front and a back, kept in the album on your profile. You get one after your first show, and more for surviving questions, winning crowns, playing a full day of five shows and finishing training.
Train mode and challenges
In Train mode you answer for yourself, honestly, and your answers become part of the herd that other players have to read. Training is always free and does not use entries.
Challenge a friend runs the same ten questions for up to eight people, to see how alike you think. Answer pairs are shown only when both players switch on Show my answers.
What it costs
Your first show is free and needs no account. With an account, your first five days of play are free (days you actually play), and training is free forever. After that, The Herd Show is a subscription: €4.99 a month or €39.99 a year, cancel any time.
Entries, revives and retries are never sold. There are five entries a day, there are no cash prizes and there are no ads.
Who it is for
Players aged 16 and over. The questions are about real life, and some touch on sex, politics, religion and drugs.
